For a second year in a row, DriftCon will be hosting four events at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, WA. The Big Bounty Tournament, High Line Shootout, Tandem Rivals, and Double 8 Showdown return as primary competitions. Each round will be held on a SATURDAY, and every event will feature a Friday practice with an increased emphasis on spectator attendance on practice day.
All rounds of DriftCon will count towards the Evergreen Drift / DriftCon NW Drift Series points.
For the first time ever, the Evergreen Drift / DriftCon NW Drift Series will be a Scouting Program for the Formula DRIFT PROSPEC licensing. The series will have the right to petition for one Formula DRIFT PROSPEC license at the end of the 2026 season. The driver that is awarded the petition will be a competitor that has shown the ability to consistently finish on the podium, has the means and desire to compete at the PROSPEC level, and will continue to represent the NW drift community in a positive way. More details of the licensing process and requirements will be shared in early 2026. There will no longer be an Evergreen Drift Licensing Shootout.
DriftCon Season Opener – April 11, 2026
The official kickoff of the season will feature the popular 64 driver Big Bounty Tournament. Available spots in this competition sell out quickly as a large portion of the drivers walk away with cash and prizes from the event. The revised rulebook, entry fee, and payouts will be shared over the coming months.
Car show details are still being finalized and will be announced soon. There is a good chance that the show will be 100% focused on a specific Japanese brand popular in the drift scene.
DriftCon – May 30, 2026
The High Line Shootout will bring together 32 of the best drivers in the region for battles on the Classic 3/8 layout. The rulebook, entry fee, and payouts will be shared after the Season Opener.
The Team Tandem Competition will be a major part of this event along with the judged Trackside Car Show by ImportMeet.com.
DriftCon Track Takeover – July 18, 2026
Tandem Rivals will be the main 32 driver competition with callouts returning to the mix. Like the May event, this round will also be held on a TBD 3/8 layout. The rulebook, entry fee, and payouts will be shared in late spring.
Drift Games and Team Tandem Tryouts will be back in addition to organized ride-alongs with some local drift legends. Vendors will be staged on the trackside midway, and a new “show element” will be included.
DriftCon Afterdark – October 3, 2026
The final DriftCon event of the season will feature the 32 driver two layout Double 8 Showdown and Warfare on the 5/8 competition. Rulebooks and prizes for these competitions will be shared in mid-summer. The Team Tandem Finale featuring the top 8 teams throughout the season, will be a major highlight of this round. The judged Trackside Night Car Show with ImportMeet.com will be held as usual.
