DriftCon is a Pacific Northwest drifting event series held at Evergreen Speedway.

All events combine a trackside car show with standalone competitions like the Big Bounty Tournament and Double 8 Showdown. In addition, exhibition events like the DriftCon Team Tandem Competition, Big Entry Contest, Hoon-Off, and other Drift Games are included to create a completely unique atmosphere for each event at this venue.

Every year the series strives to elevate the quality of the competition and create experiences not found at other events in the region.

OUR MISSION

For the last decade, the goal with DriftCon has always been to put on the best show possible for the fans of drifting. For 2026 DriftCon will be hosting four events – the DriftCon Season Opener, DriftCon, DriftCon Track Takeover, and DriftCon Afterdark.

For car show participants, we will always strive to maintain a fair and efficient method of determining the winners in each category. Our events will always be judged by hired judges that have experience BUILDING their own show cars.

MATT HAUGNESS
MATT HAUGNESSFOUNDER / OWNER
After hosting multiple import car events under the brand ImportMeet.com, Matt started DriftCon in 2014 to fill the void of a high quality car show and drifting event at Evergreen Speedway. For nearly a decade they have continued to be the largest spectated drifting events in the PNW outside of Formula Drift.

CURRENT PHOTOGRAPHY TEAM

MICHAEL ERICSON
MICHAEL ERICSON@JORIPHOTO
Michael “Jori” Ericson is an award winning automotive and motorsports photographer from Seattle. His passion for photography ignited at an early age but really took off when he acquired a Canon 7D and began expanding his focus to motorsports and automotive photography. Jori’s work has been published by Speedhunters, PASMAG, Toyo Tires, and more. When he’s not taking photos of cars, he’s probably nerding out about coffee, playing with his cats, traveling with friends and family, or seeing how vertical his 4Runner can get before flipping over.
ALAN HUSSAR
ALAN HUSSAR@HATAKE_SHOOTS
Alan Hussar may be new to automotive photography, but his unique style has earned him significant recognition among his peers over the past few years. His media journey started in 2022 when he decided to document his journey across the various tracks in the PNW in his time attack build Miata. Since then, he has photographed for Formula Drift drivers, the American Rally Association, Drift Enthusiast Magazine, and others. Beyond driving and motorsport photography, Alan enjoys attending and capturing EDM shows, from Deadmau5 to Liquid Stranger and everything in between. If anyone could spend all day photographing cars then dancing all night, it would be him.
